How to Price your Gym

Submitted by Karol on Sun, 02/04/2018 - 17:58

Traditionally, gyms were separated into two established pricing categories: budget gym and elite fitness clubs, leaving these two genres to price themselves according to the categorization.

However, since fitness clubs have expanded to include so many different types of experiences, pricing options and strategies have changed to match this transition.

Membership fees now vary in styles (time-fixed price for unlimited use, pay-by-class, optional pricing for access at different times of day, etc).

Can EMS training replace regular gym training?

Submitted by Karol on Sun, 02/04/2018 - 17:50

I am not the biggest fan of expressing such a thesis but as this question or topic pops up more and more often I’ve decided to face it. The question itself seems pretty obvious. We might as well ask if, for example, cross fit, swimming or squash can replace gym workout. EMS training is quite a young, but very rapidly developing form of activity around the world. It is primarily an innovative form of personal training, a tool for a trainer, physiotherapist instructors, which allows you to perform much more effective training in a much shorter time.

New current studies and research show us emerging new trends. The latest holiday trip report has indicated the preferences of travellers in the direction of active spending of the time instead of lounging on the beach and sipping cold beer. According to the data published by Hotels.com portal, physical activities have become the most important element of summer holidays for 79% respondents. The main reason pointed out by more than a half of those questioned are celebrities and their active lifestyle and fitness influencers in social media.

Influencers – do Internet celebrities really sell

Submitted by Karol on Wed, 12/20/2017 - 19:03

In February 2017, the International Marketing Agency Tribe Dynamic announced the most influential blogger in the world. According to press reports Maffashion – Polish lifestyle online celebrity – has "earned" for the brands she promoted estimated $ 18 mln. The word "earned" here is quite a lot of simplification, because in reality it is about the so-called advertising equivalent, meaning the number determining how much the brand would have to spend on advertising in the traditional media channels in order to reach a given number of people.

Training and marketing – what do they have in common?

Submitted by Karol on Wed, 12/20/2017 - 18:54

With marketing is like with training. If you are a trainer or passionate about any specific sports discipline you practice regularly, you will understand easily the mechanisms that drive effective communication and marketing. Each personal trainer before starting training warnshonestlythat the effects do not come without dedication and that the exercises do not work after a week and require an effort and consistency. The same as training, marketing is a process and it should not be based on one-offs or occasional actions.

Why do you need PR in fitness club?

Submitted by Karol on Wed, 12/20/2017 - 18:39

We are often afraid of what we do not know. Lack of knowledge about public relations activities or even mistaken perception of them makes fitness clubs not well-acquainted with PR. It’s a pity, as thanks to PR we create lasting relationships, build awareness and brand recognition, we influence people to start to speak and write about our brand. The most important thing is to say and write well.
